From December to October, winds are consistently strong, ranging from 15 to 28 knots—perfect for kitesurfing. The onshore wind conditions also enhance safety by guiding riders back toward the shore if needed.
3. Who can participate in kitesurfing lessons?
Our lessons are open to individuals aged 11 and above. Participants should be in good health, without back conditions that may prevent them from maintaining a squat position, as this movement is essential for safe kite and board control.
4. How long does it take to learn kitesurfing?
On average, beginners can achieve independent riding within 10-15 hours of lessons. Learning time varies based on athletic ability, wind conditions, and prior board-sport experience. Our experienced instructors ensure a safe, progressive learning experience tailored to each student.

Lessons are conducted in a safe, shallow lagoon with onshore winds, which naturally guide riders back to shore. These conditions, combined with close instructor supervision, create an ideal and controlled environment for beginners.

We offer beachfront accommodation options, including hammock-style setups with shared bathrooms and private bungalows with private bathrooms, 24-hour solar-powered electricity, and dining services. Rates start at 100,000 COP per person.
11. What should I bring for kitesurfing?
We recommend bringing sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses with a strap, swimwear, and a towel. Depending on the season, a wetsuit may also be useful. All necessary kitesurfing equipment is provided.
12. Can I rent equipment without taking lessons?
Yes, experienced riders with a valid IKO certification can rent equipment without lessons. Rental rates and conditions are available upon request.
